My story

Hello!! My name is Josiah Wombacher, I've been taking photos professionally for seven years, and have been around cameras all my life. I specialize in hybrid film and digital photography offering coverage in 35mm, 120mm, Polaroids, and soon large format. I commonly get asked why. Why shoot film when digital is easier, and is just as good? Because film is timeless. Film is tangible. Film can be enlarged chemically. Film is special. 

My goal is to capture your milestones differently. Learning about you as a couple, as people, and give you tangible memories that will last your lifetime. I would describe my style as authentic, timeless, and joyful. I'm here as a resource, and hope to provided guidance through the planning process. 


I taught myself ceramics in high school and went on to go viral with on tiktok, shipping my handmade items around the world.
